Didn't see that coming!
Up until the mid-2000’s, any ‘Made in China’ product would be greeted rather… cold.

About a decade or so back, China really started becoming the consumer tech capital of the world. This was thanks to ingenious brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, DJI, amongst others.
However, it looks like there’s still some Chinese OEMs relying on other brands for inspiration.
Very recently, we noticed Anbernic’s Miyoo Mini clone.

This ‘new’ AYANEO clone appears to come from one such factory.
Courtesy YouTuber Wicked Gamer & Collector, take a look at the video showing off this AYANEO clone:
According to the product page, this retro console features a 5.1-inch (1280 x 720p) display and the ATM7059 processor.

While the sales page claims it will be able to run a bunch of emulators, my guess would be this is decent at best with NES — nothing more.
For the record, this costs $45 — you’d probably have to pay more for shipping — so YMMV on that front.
If you haven’t gotten the memo yet — AVOID! There’s a bunch of great retro consoles under $100 you can buy now that you should consider instead.
